Beach Sweep after a winter storm – Sunday 28
The WA Naturalists Club in Perth holds a very successful annual beach sweep excursion every year, so our Club is going to give it a second try (the first one a few years ago only attracted a small group of people).
On Sunday July 28, we’ll have a Beach Sweep: we’ll be looking for marine life and other items thrown up onto Redgate Beach after a storm that the long-range forecast suggests will arrive about 3 days beforehand.
Meet at 10.00am at the main Redgate Beach carpark. Bring morning tea and lunch if the weather is fine (which it usually is when it’s one of our outings!).
This event is free; non-members are most welcome; and this excursion is especially well suited to families with children.
Leaders are Sue Morrison and Ann Storrie.
