ORCHIDS, WILDFLOWERS AND POSSUMS – VISIT TO ANN STORRIE’S BUSH BLOCK
This Sunday’s excursion is almost full but places for 10 people are still available for the afternoon shift to Ann Storrie’s bush property south of Yallingup.
With almost 40 species of orchid already found by Ann in less than two years since buying the property, it’s a highly biodiverse site.
This Sunday October 18, the Busselton Naturalists Club has been invited to see some of this diversity but numbers are limited.
To prevent tramping of plants, numbers have been restricted to just 20 people in the morning and 20 in the afternoon.
The morning shift is already full but there’s space for another 10 people in the afternoon shift which starts at 1.00pm.
To book, please send an email to email@example.com or phone Club president Bernie Masters on 0408 944 242 but be quick.
Attendees have the option of bringing a picnic meal so that both groups can have lunch together at 12.00 noon.
Directions on how to find Ann’s property will be provided only to people who book in via this email so that ‘gatecrashers’ are discouraged.
