Sept. Excursion: Ludlow Forest and Settlement Restoration (expired event)

Des Donnelly, Vice President of the Ludlow Forest Restoration Group, will give a 1-hour talk on:
• The efforts to restore the Tuart Forest’s natural biodiversity
• How they’re creating facilities that support native wildlife and offer educational opportunities
• Plans to revive the historic Ludlow Forestry Settlement and open it up as a heritage-rich eco-tourism destination
We will walk the Settlement’s perimeter, followed by lunch. BYO lunch and chairs. The new Ludlow Café will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the day if you wish to partake in tea or coffee and cakes.
