The Busselton Naturalists Club is all about discovering, understanding and conserving the natural beauty of our region with like-minded people.
Regular monthly meetings are held in Busselton, with guest speakers sharing their knowledge and experiences on nature-based topics. If you are thinking of joining, you are welcome to attend meetings and excursions on a trial basis.
Membership includes:
- Excursions and walks with participation and commentary by nature experts to help you appreciate the flora and fauna, landscape and geology of our natural environment;
- Snorkelling and beachcombing trips with marine biologists;
- Weekend camping trips to new places off the beaten track;
- An annual long-range adventure to explore new areas together. Trips have included visits to the Kimberley, Pilbara, Christmas and Cocos Islands, Flinders Ranges and Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands;
- Meelup Moonrise walk with camaraderie over picnic and drinks;
- Opportunities to suggest new events that are of particular interest to you; and
- Regular Newsletters and event reminders sent to your inbox.
