May Meeting: Trauma in the Tuart Forest, presented by Des Donnelly
Des Donnelly was born in Toodjay. After completing school, Des became a forestry field cadet officer in Dwellingup. He later moved to Ludlow as the District Forester Manager. He is now a part of the Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group, a community-based organisation. The group’s mission is to restore the forest.
This presentation is offered to bring to the public’s attention the trauma that has occurred in the Tuart forest over the past 190 years and now threatens the remnant ecosystem and its dependent biodiversity with extinction.
